Hi Diane
You’ll be amazed to know that I use a cheap Flip camera. Simple, easy and pretty decent. Problem is, after I bought it a few months ago, my son told me they were bought out and would not be supporting it any longer. Think it was MS that bought them out but I can’t really remember. I’m sure there’s a replacement somewhere.
Thanks Elaine. I have been told by others that a Flip camera is good. But then I was also told that the web cam I bought was the best there is. I’m sorry I spent my money on that. I’ll have to save up to get something else. I have a tripod, so at least I don’t have to buy one of those.
Spelunking, crawling through muck, physically gruelling… good prep work for your writing career, Sharon, whether you include the sport in a novel or not. Off to crawl out of my jammies now, wind my way to the kitchen, forage for caffeine, and wriggle my way out of a tight spot in my plot.
The retreat was fabulous. Elaine is right, there is a teacher inside of you!
I love the interviews, Elaine. So nice to see Sharon in person and to find out more about her. I’ve done the easy tourist caving, but nothing like crawling through the mud and exploring the seldom seen caves that Sharon has done. What an adventurous spirit!
Elaine you are going to become a pro at this interview job, well done! Sharon you speak well in front of your writers…keep those retreats going…and too in front of the camera! This will give you practice for when you are on tour with your published books

Great interview, Elaine. I have a question: What kind of video camera did you use? I have a web cam, but it doesn’t make clear images like your video.

Great word pictures, Sherry. Hope your plot squeeze is fixed. We still have to get you on the other side of the camera. Soon, eh?

Hey, Jessica, thanks for your comments. I just had a thought. One day I’ll have to interview you on camera!

Check out Jessica’s column where she mentions our interview on her blog. She is a hard working writer. And loads of fun.
